I've been going to Bass for years and it has always been my favorite river resort. The staff are like friends and family. There are exciting experiences and quiet ones as well, but always puts peace in my heart. Going to MOroots next month! Always a good time.

This is a great campground. Facilities are clean, they have a pool open in summer, a general store stocked with anything you need (anything from shirts, to booze to an air mattress), friendly staff, bathrooms and showers that are clean. We stayed on a campsite and set up a tent but they also have cabins. I recommend the 3 hour... More

Campers pay per person, not per site Electric cost is per site -- so you can put a few tents on each electric site. The primitive sites are good; many next to the Courtois Creek. Not only can you camp, but also canoe/kayak/tube and/or horseback ride. As long as you bring your camping gear, you can get food and beverages... More

We stayed at Bass River Resort for 2 days in early August and we wished we would have booked for longer. This was our first time floating with our kids (ages 9 & 6) so we were not for sure what to expect but we had a great time. We stayed in Cozy Deluxe Cabin D. I was so clean,... More

The Kayaks are a blast. The campground has everything you need including a store and showers. The options are horseback rideing. Ozark Trail. Floating and swimming in a nice cool creek. Also smallmouth fishing in the pools.

Our families tries to float the river once a year as a family event. This restore is well run and the staff is friendly. Recommend if you have teenagers get some kayaks along with the canoes or rafts. Be safe.

Our family came to Bass River Resort to camp and go on a float trip. We camped on the quiet side with absolutely no problems. In fact, if it weren't such a far drive (nearly 4 hours) I would come down just to camp. I would give the float trip a 4 out of 5 as my first float trip... More

Two nights in Buck Lodge is fabulous! Big and beautiful with a view of the horse stables. We raft floated one day on the Courtois River.... Fun with friends and family. You do have to bring your own sheets, this lodge has four bedrooms with two queen beds in each room. You also must bring your own plates and utensils.... More

We arrived on Friday and camped overnight then additional family members arrived on Saturday to float and then we stayed again Saturday night. The campsites are very small but we did like the security associated with them and quiet hours were enforced in our area. Float trip was nice and very well organized. The rafts inner tubes and canoe we're... More

Clean and well kept facilities. Separate Areas for families and loud groups. Choice of 3 rivers to float. Will go back. Full electric 50amp service with water and sewer available. Reasonable rates. Float trip lengths varies by choice. Clean beautiful rivers, Huzzah, Courtois, or Meramec rivers. Very enjoyable. Pets allowed on leash.😀
