My husband and I came from out of state. Owner was extremely accommodating. You can tell he loves what he does. Very knowledgeable. He went out of his way to accommodate us. The whiskey is by far the best we have had. Would definitely recommend this place!!

Great small distillery, the whiskey was very smooth. Same with the moonshine and Rum. Tour was short but the tasting was good, everyone was really friendly also.

What an incredibly interesting adventure! The host was very personable, and his tour and explanation of his set-up was very informative. It was a very casual tour, so guests felt at ease asking questions and getting a clear understanding of his business and the process. There were limited souvenirs available for purchase, but managed to get an apple pie distilling... More

Spent the early afternoon last weekend on the deck sipping flavored whiskeys (apple pie, cherry pie, toasted coconut, etc.) and chasing with craft brew. A couple of talented local guys were on guitar and bongo drums playing and singing a very wide variety of songs and having a lot of fun themselves. Peaceful setting, warm sun, good music, good friends.... More

We saw the sign on the way to Bear Creek Wine Company. We decided to check it out. We chose to split a flight of moonshine/whisky. 5 shots/samples cost $5. The samples were adequate for both my husband and I to taste. We had the added bonus of a major downpour happening while we were there. Nothing like being caught... More

The place is just a bar in the middle of nowhere. No tours...no true tasting. I was just handed a menu and I had to ask about the whiskey and the differences. I was given one sample only because I asked....then it was suggested that I purchase the "sampler" to get the different tastes. I was pretty much ignored... It's... More

What a wonderful time. Katherine was great, explained the different moonshines and rums. We met Jim on the way out, who makes the spirits, we drink the spirits, and it lifts out spirits. Definitely a place to stop!!!!

Free tasting was fine and the attendant was competent and friendly. If you want to purchase a bottle for dinner in the Bistro, it is purchased in the shop, not added to the dinner check. Food was fine and server was also. Bistro had opened the week before.

What a fun place to visit. We were out for a ride and decided to stop for a visit. The variety of beverages is good and the food that they serve appetizers which are matched well with the beverages.

We came for a tour and were the only ones there, other than the lady working LOL But, we did come on July 4th at 4pm. (I felt bad because she'd just made herself some lunch but set it aside while she tended to us--even after I insisted she eat.) She gave us a tour and knew the ins and... More
