So I'm an avid skier. For the mid west this little hill packed a lot of potential for my kids to grow and prepare for Rocky Mountain skiing. This season was plagued with warm weather and the crew did a good job of making as much snow and humanly possible. The drawbacks-- given the nature of Midwest weather we didn't... More

We had a great time today. It hasn't been a cold season so it wasn't the best skiing but we had so much fun! Wishing we would've tried snowboarding here. It's a great place for beginner/intermediate skiers. Food was great!

Don't expect Colorado, but for Missouri this place ROCKS!! This is the perfect place to come to locally and get your snow skiing on. Very family friendly. The staff is very nice and helpful. This is a great bargain to come and spend the day skiing. It's awesome for bringing kids (and adults) to learn. This was only my second... More

This was the first time my two kids (6 and 9) and 40 year old husband have ever skied. The first day they all took lessons and did great. The instructors were so kind to the kids and patient with my son who was not too sure about skiing. The second day the kids enrolled in the 3 hr ski... More

It was quite surprising to pull up in 42 degree weather and see several snowy ski slopes and a big snowy tubing area! Our family of five purchased the two hour tubing passes...and for beginners, two hours was plenty. In the tubing area, there is a conveyor belt that takes the tubers to the top of the hill...it's very nice... More

We went skiing on Christmas Eve from 11-4. We hadn't been skiing in 20 years and this was our 20 year old's first time (it was his birthday!). We took no lessons (yes, they offer them). We started on the Bunny Hill to get warmed up. Then moved over to the Rope Tow to ski a very short, smooth run.... More

If you are looking for a day place to tube or ski this is the place. Close to Kansas City and a lot of other nice cities in Kansas. The tubing was so much fun and the kids enjoyed the skiing. There really isn't anyplace to eat here (they do have a limited snack bar)so try to take some snacks... More

We are not from Missouri, this was fun for us. It was nice to take a break and sit by the fire pit. Highly recommend!

Don't have the money, or time to go to CO to try skiing? This is a great option. We had a group day pass for $25 which also included a lesson. Can't beat it. Although, it was rather "slushy" skiing r/t warm temps. It still worked. Ski instructors are hit and miss. There is one older male instructor who is... More

This is a great place for beginners to learn how to board or ski. Relatively cheap lift tickets, short lines, and a couple bunny and beginner slopes. The location is good for people from around Kansas City to make a quick and easy trip on a whim to satisfy their boarding/skiing urge. Not somewhere I would spend longer than a... More
