Fun day trip from Memphis!

We drove up from Memphis, TN for a day trip only. We had 3 children (ages 11, 13 & 14) that went with us and we did the Polar Plunge. We had a blast! The adults had just as much... read more

Our family visited Hidden Valley for the Polar Plunge (snow tubing). The kids are 13 and 9. We ALL enjoyed the snow tubing. Thank goodness for the conveyor lift to get us up the hill. We got a good workout just walking up the hill to the conveyor lift. Definitely a great family trip.

We have been here several times during the year. This year our winter has been very warm so we were pleasantly surprised it was still open on a 70 degree day. We went with our youth group from church to slide down the many lanes at Hidden Valley. It was not crowded at all. We tubed for 3 hours and... More

We drove up from Memphis, TN for a day trip only. We had 3 children (ages 11, 13 & 14) that went with us and we did the Polar Plunge. We had a blast! The adults had just as much fun as the kids! Even if the tubing line seems long, it moves quickly because multiple people can hook together... More

Wonderful option to get to ski here in Missouri. Ski school is fantastic. Great beginner or advanced lessons. We like to go to hidden valley before a trip out west to learn to ski better before our trip. Snow making allows for skiing all winter. Even on warm winter day. My family and I ski here often. I'd highly recommend... More

Went to the late session (8PM-12PM) for tubing. Got there around 8:15 PM. Waited in line to get tickets for almost 2 hours ... then in another line to get a tube! There was one ticket booth open, but 2 cashiers for concessions! We were there for 3 hours and went down the hill 3 times.

With night skiing/tubing! Good comfortable ski rental equipment. Carpet ride for beginners Tow rope for novice Many chair lifts Terrain park Skiers and boarders mix well. Everyone we encountered was friendly and helpful. If you don't go expecting a ski resort/mountain, which it is not, you'll be pleasantly surprised for a little ski hill. Outdoor seating with bonfire pit, indoor... More

This is our second trip to Hidden Valley. This year the majority of staff seemed angry or upset, from the ticket window to the concessions, to the instructors. 2 staff by outdoor tables openly complaining about wages, workers, etc. The only smile I saw all day was from the guys in the kitchen when I took our large Pizza back... My husband, 11 year son and I visited here for our fist ski trip ever. We loved it and will definitely go back. This place is a perfect place to learn how to ski. The staff is friendly but could have been more helpful to first timers like us. We were overwhelmed when we walked in to get our skis... More

We wanted our tweens to have fun in the snow but we are not skiers so we tried the polar plunge. We all had a great time! The price for three hours was very reasonable. The conveyor was nice to avoid walking up the entire hill was great. We highly recommend it and will go back!

This is the perfect place to learn how to ski or snowboard. The staff were amazing & the snow trails were very well maintained. We really enjoyed skiing here & will definitely bring our grandchildren back.
