I have been here twice, and have learned something new each visit. Great all weather activity. If you come in the spring, summer of early fall make sure to check out the farm stead on the museum grounds.

It is a modestly-sized facility, but the dinosaur exhibit is very well curated and provides some wonderful learning opportunities, such as a series of triceratops skulls that shows how the skull shape changes as the animal ages--so much so that they were once thought to...More

My family very much enjoys the Museum of the Rockies! We have teenagers and younger kids and have fun every time we visit. The younger ones really like the play area upstairs and we spend a lot of time in there. It's also nice that...More

MOR is a well-planned, professional museum that has something for everyone. They are most well known for their local dinosaur skeletons but also host many community events. Check out their website, Montana State University's calendar and the Bozeman events calendar for fun and interesting programs.

The Museum of the Rockies is a great little museum! They update their displays regularly, and bring in some high quality exhibits. Our kids like to visit regularly, and annual family membership is VERY reasonable. Planetarium movies are great, as well.

If you want to see a large collection of Triceratops and other fossils like the T-rex, head on over to the museum. They also have a planetarium show and a wild west exhibition. Plan for about 3 hours to make your way through all there...More

My 3 year old loves dinosaurs so she really enjoyed the T-Rex (her favorite dino). The big bird planetarium show was also really good for a 3 year old.

Awesome place small, very nice and great dinosaur bones and cool cultural exhibits. Not a bad price, I think it was 14.50 and good for two days.

Great exhibits, simple layout, and things for all ages. The area upstairs is perfect for the tykes that would rather play than walk around a museum quietly.

We had a hard time getting our son out of the Yellowstone kid area, he loved all the activities so much! The adults favorite area was the dinosaur exhibits. This museum had a wide variety of interesting exhibits and was very clean.

It depends on how much the kids are into dinosaurs and the timing of the planetarium show. If it is the 'right' show the 4&6 year old might enjoy it so check the schedule and that will I think determine it. 1-2 hours
