I had to spend a couple of nights in Bozeman before my flight home and ended up taking a trip to the museum - by myself. It was certainly interesting and not that expensive, however it was a great way to spend a couple of hours looking at the exhibits.

One of the best! Tons to look at for both adults and kids. Extremely educational, the kids area upstairs is a lot of fun. Some sort of food would be nice, though.

Have gone to the Museum of the Rockies several times and have never been disappointed. It's always a go to when we aren't sure what we want to do on a weekend afternoon. The traveling exhibits have been phenomenal and the dinosaur exhibit is second to none. My niece and nephew have enjoyed watching them work on the fossils first... More

When we finally made it to Museum of the Rockies on our third visit to Bozeman, we were not disappointed. I had no idea so many dinosaurs had been discovered in Montana (and that was just the beginning of what I learned). The many dinosaur exhibits were simply awesome, and humbling. WOW! One of our fellow travelers had a two... More

This museum not only covers local history, it hosts traveling exhibits. The outdoor pioneer displays are closed in winter.

The Museum of the Rockies is great for adults and children both. They have amazing dinasours that were excavated locally. A must see.

Enjoyed an afternoon visit to the Museum of the Rockies - could have easily come back for a second visit as the exhibits were very well done. Well worth a visit.

We went to this museum to satisfy my daughter's desire to see the dinosaur exhibit. My daughter is a second grade teacher with a granddaughter who loves anything dinosaur. The museum was well laid out, very informative and easy to navigate.

This place has some of the best dinosaur information anywhere. The focus is of course on creatures that lived in Montana during the late Jurassic and Cretaceous period. Which is when the state of Montana was partially flooded with inland seas. Very up to date exhibits. Other exhibits include western history, some native american history of the intermountain region and... More
