Well, I wanted to see what this 'landmark street' was all about...there were some interesting building, some shopping opportunities...interesting to drive along the street. A part of history.

This is the one place in Helena that just doesn’t feel like Helena. Remind me of the river walk in San Antonio with out the river or humidity. My favorite place to go. Fun to stroll at night

This is a beautiful walking mall complete with sculptures and a little stream down the center of it The old buildings were put up for sale for $2 each and low interest funding was made available to refurbish these buildings. That was in the 1980's....More

This area could be terrific with the right venues. It is totally pedestrian and safe. But so little to look at. Totally disappointed.

The actual downtown area was almost deserted when we were there. many of the buildings are indeed historic, but we did notice that some of the signage had been created recently and made to look old, but overall it was a nice area to stroll...More
