This Neo-Gothic church is worth a stop, especially for the windows, made in Bavaria, which are particularly beautiful. They are also interesting for the fact that they include treatment of the history of Christianity in the Western US.

It was beautiful from the outside. We visited on a Sunday afternoon and all doors were locked. I was bummed to miss the inside.

A striking cathedral - worth a quick visit, even if it's just to see it from the outside. Along with the State Capitol Building, the Cathedral of St Helena is one of the two must see sights.

We were able to walk around the entire building and take photos. The architectural features and statues were worth the time to go in! Not to mention it is free and great history lesson for my kids.

This building is stunning from out the outside. Try to view just before sunset. I did not have time to go inside.

This cathedral is stunning. It is open 24 hours and has several spots to light a candle and say a prayer. Even if you are not religious, the architecture is still a beautiful thing to see.

A beautiful Cathedral in Helena. The stained glass and vaulted ceilings are worth the stop. Very friendly!

This is a must see. Words cannot describe how beautiful this cathedral is. It only takes a short time to see it, so be sure that you do.

This question is too broad but if it is church related I would say the Sistine Chapel and St Peter’s Basilica in Rome

It was open when we were there on a weekday afternoon. I suggest you just go there. If it is not open, then wyou will still have seen some interesting houses along the way.
