Impressive CM Russell art collection well displayed and informative captions. A lot of cultural artifacts of Montana's native and European histories. I learned several things in this pleasant museum.

The guide books said this museum was outstanding, and we certainly found it to be comprehensive. We have visited most of the museums in Washington DC and New York, and this Western example was excellent.

What a shocker! We were surprised at how much great historical informtion/displays there were. And there is also a military museum in the same building. Every family should visit this.
