Went here for some down time, and found that some of the campgrounds were open, decided to take a quik break and relax by the water. Sunny day, cold glass of tea, and the result was a relaxed day of bliss.

These lakes are renown for fishing, swimming and water sports. There are plenty of camp sites around the lakes, including Logan State Park - which has a boat launch and public beach perfect for picnic lunches and swimming for even young kids.

Love the nice small lakes, great for paddle board or kayak. Did not camp but would be great place to do that. Area is well maintained.

A relatively short drive to the scenic lakes, not much on the way to, from or beyond, unless you are headed to Libby MT. Lake access.

Middle, lower and upper Thompson lakes interconnect to offer a large range of activities. Fishing is fantastic, canoeing, kayaking, camping are all things you can do here. Too cold to swim and you can't rent boats so bring your own or a friends.

The whole drive is wonderful!! We enjoyed seeing the whole area. We spent the day on a boat on Horseshoe lake. It is crystal clear so we did lots of swimming. Didn't catch any fish though.
