Very clean and friendly

Outside pools were a bit too cool for winter weather. Changing rooms were very clean and the staff was very friendly.

What a beautiful area of Montana. Elkhorn staff were very nice. However, the lodge accomodations were undeniably repulsive. The room was dark, the berber floor was dirty and the beds were uncomfortable. I did not sleep. Doors only lock from the inside and thus valuables had to be kept in the car. When I opened the curtain in the room... More

What a fun place! We took a girls weekend here and rented the Bearpaw cabin. It was perfect! A fire place with plenty of wood and 3 beds! This particular cabin also had running spring water. Make sure to bring fresh water for drinking and brushing your teeth; as well as towels. You do have to check in at the... More

Nearly 100 years of serving the public at the locals' favorite lodge and restaurant. Enjoy the authentic rustic atmosphere, good food, and friendly service. Try the bacon bleu burger. Great. Don't be upset by the critters hangig around watching you eat.

My mother and I had 2 separate rooms in the lodge. The walls are so paper thin we could have a conversation with each other in our separate rooms in our normal voices. There are no locks on the doors either. Then, while we were sleeping, an amorous couple came in. So much for sleeping. Besides the noise, the top... More

Went home after 26 years and still the same. Rustic same pools and a sauna that's VERY hot. Spent day with sons family and mineral water took away all my aches. 2 pools outdoors and sauna inside. Shower rooms inside. Beautiful in mountains. Down the road are now cabins for rent and although we did not rent one they are... More

If you are looking for “glamping”, this is not the place. The cabins and hot springs are RUSTIC. Stuck in a time warp, tucked in the forest at high altitude, and not 100% sanitary…..we found it wonderfully delightful. We reserved our cabin online and chose one with indoor plumbing. The cabin was much bigger than we anticipated. It had two... More

This place is very rustic. It is a cool place for the family. We really enjoyed are time here. The breakfast in the morning was good and plus we are booked with a nother trip at the end of July. It's not super fancy but the owners are great!

The worst I have seen in along time. This place needs some attention from someone who cares. Nice location. The pool was scummy. More like a cold pond. Body temperature. So gross I just couldn't do it. The shower I was so looking forward to after hiking for two days, also was so run down, the ceiling in showers had... More

One the few lodges left that hasn't yet been "fussified" for those expecting ready to light fires, an expansive menu and matching designer bedroom linens. Has a very laid back, 'if it ain't broke, don't fix it' feel lodges and campgrounds had back in the day. Super cozy beds, good food, relaxing hot spring in a magical setting.
