Pulled in here with a friend in our two trailers and rigs. Was disappointed there were no camp sites with river views. Had to walk through tall grasses to get to the water. Ran into a large snake on the path which although a natural...More

An important stop for anyone interested in Lewis & Clark. It's an easy hike with interpretive signage. After reading about the headwaters of the Missouri it was wonderful to see it first hand.

We were following the Lewis and Clark trail from So.Dakota into Montana and back thru North Dakota. This was an interesting stop and I was surprised at how fast the Madison was rushing into the Missouri at the Confluence. I can see why it is...More

We visited early in the morning, and were so glad that we did. Standing on the site where Lewis and Clark camped in 1805 was amazing. The site is very well preserved, and it's easy to imagine that it looks just like it did when...More

We arrived late at night and were grateful to find a space. The rivers are nearby and the location is beautiful. Spaces were not that well laid out. Price for non-residents was $28/ night with pit toilets. Mosquitoes abound. Wear bug spray!
