Saw a fox and a large bull buffalo while hitting the cross country trails. Trails well cared for and easy access. Getting into the park to ski around Old Faithful not easy or cheep.

I got a lot of photos of this going thru the park. I recomend going in the shoulder season ( I went after labor day) as there are less crowds to deal with.

This is one of the top spots to see when fisiting Yellowstone National Park. Beautiful upper and lower falls in an awestruck canyon on Yellow.

Wildlife, wild river, walking and wanderlust. Perfect excuse to drive along the river. Stop. Gawk. No reason to rush. Explore the outdoors. Example of the Wild West in the 21st century.

It is an amazing experience to walk or drive along Yellowstone River. You can watch deer, bear, bison, moose and other animals swimming or bathing in the river. Such a unique nature experience unlike anything you will ever see.

There are several rafting companies along the Snake River. Frankly I can't recall the name of the one we took, but all seemed to be pretty similar as we passed them along the way. Bundle up though it's pretty chilly out on... More
