I have been to rodeos in New Mexico, this does not compare to a major rodeo, but the riders ,clown and everyone involved work very hard to provide a evening of family fun, they get everyone involved the kids have a blast, I even won the dance off contest at 73, we were there with a family from France and... My husband and I wanted our 12 & 16 year olds to experience a rodeo. We have been to pro bull riding events with them in the past, but we wanted them to see all the different events. When the rodeo "clown" told us, "Dang, I was hoping you didn't have anything to compare us to", we thought he was... More

We went as a family and enjoyed the experience. you are seating outside on bleachers. there is a hut selling burgers and drinks. The Rodeo has different parts and challenges which made it interesting but the time between the parts was sometimes long and what is a 1h30 show could be shortened significantly. the part when they ask kids to... While on vacation in Yellowstone this July, we took our 5 kids (ages 5 to 15) to this rodeo. It was a great experience for all of us. The prices are very reasonable and action is right there in front of you. The show was great - calf-roping, bull riding, barrel racing, etc. We've been to the rodeo in Houston,... More

Took my kids, ages 9 & 7, here for a 1-he trail ride. The staff was knowledgable and courteous. They took extra time with my daughter who was initially nervous about riding. The ride went through a pretty pasture then a wooded area. Facilities themselves looked a bit run-down, but the horses were well-tended and trained. Would definitely recommend it... More

This had all the charm of a small town rodeo. It was a fun activity to do at night after a long day of exploring in the park. My mom has had a hip replacement and they let us park closer when we mentioned that. They play a recording of the national anthem while a young girl circles the arena... More

Kids had never seen a Rodeo so went. Clown was very enthusiastic and friendly. Everyone had a great time. It goes about an hour and a half.

So I grew up in Chicago an my dad and I always watched Western movies. I learned how to ride a horse because of that. Well, a stable horse that they use to teach children how to ride a horse is a far shot from riding a pissed off bull. And if you want to ride a bull in a... More

What a quirky way to spend an evening! It had all of the hoo-haa of a Major League Baseball game including anthems and all but you are literally 4 feet from the action. I had been to a large rodeo previously and this small scale event was superb value - from the over the top announcer (frooooommmmm Laaaaaaas Vegas, Nevaaaada)... More

We had never been to a rodeo before, so weren't sure what to expect. We went after a huge rain, and the place was a muddy mess. The bleachers were soaked, but we had a blanket in our car so we could dry it off. But we were so dirty when we left, mud caked on our shoes, up the... More
