Whitefish Mountain Resort, in northwest Montana, is noted for its laid-back vibe, world-class skiing, and unbeatable value. The resort sees an average of 300 inches of snow on its 3,000 acres, and is as well known for a pleasant lack of lift lines as for its consistently good snow conditions. When the snow melts, Whitefish Mountain Resort becomes home to thrilling zip lines and an alpine slide, world-class downhill and cross-country mountain biking, and the unique Walk in the Treetops, in addition to spectacular hiking, water sports, fly fishing, whitewater rafting, Glacier National Park, and more available in the greater Whitefish area. It is the perfect base camp for a summer visit to Montana’s majestic Flathead Valley.

We only rode the ski lift here - did not stay at the resort. The ski lift was fine but the staff who helped you get on and off the rides were very unfriendly. You could tell they hated their jobs. The bar tender at the top of the lift was very friendly and attentive. The scenery was beautiful from... More

I have done the aerial adventure three times, it is so much fun. It's a bit pricey if you don't get a group rate, but very worth it. Excellent for kids and adults. It's very safe so kids can go on their own without getting hurt. I've done alpine slide, zip lines and walk in the tree tops also. They... More

Upon check in Jackalyn at the front desk was great. She gave us a good rate and showed us a couple of different rooms they had available. The rooms were average. There was a nice balcony looking out onto the ski slopes out back. We sat in the hot tub, it is more of a hot soaking tub. It didn't... More

We ate at the restaurant at the resort and it was good. We couldn't get a seat in the fine dining area but ate in the lounge and it was comfortable. The food was good, but not the best I have ever had. The Lodge isn't a 5 star hotel but seems rustic and perfect for being on a lake.

We went to the resort specifically for the alpine slide. Once we got there, we were very disappointed with the length of the course and seeming lack of challenge. Also, the line was particularly long given it was 2pm on a weekday after Labor Day. They were not efficient in moving people along. Probably a great alpine slide for a... More

We shifted our annual group ski trip up here from Jackson Hole, WY. The service is much better, prices are much less and it is a really fun mountain. It is hard to compete with the terrain at Jackson Hole but there are plenty of gnarly chutes and really steep lines if that is what you are looking for. Hook... More

they have an incredible resort. Lots to do all summer with many activities. In winter, world class skiing with no lift line except at Christmas. Prices are great too.

We held our wedding at the whitefish mountain resort and stayed in Morning Eagle 505. Our room was fantastic and perfect for getting ready. The decor made us feel a little at home (texas) with the rustic nature. Our guests stated in different locations on property and everyone loved it. The hospitality was great from everyone on staff. Highly recommend... More

My husband and I enjoyed a full day of activities at Whitefish Mountain Resort. The alpine slide was okay, but we LOVED the aerial adventure park and scenic lift ride. The aerial adventure park was challenging, but definitely a bonding experience for the two of us. We enjoyed a series of high ropes/obstacle courses. When I had had enough, my... More
