The trail affords great views of wildlife such as deer, turkeys, numerous songbirds and wetlands. I had a doe and fawn walk up and stop about 30 feet away.

A great trail with perfect views of the river for crane watching. There is a strong wind once you're exposed to the water, arctic gear needed if you're staying to watch the cranes.

I enjoy the path, you get bikers, skaters, walkers, joggers, pets... pretty much a wide variety of company. You can walk flat areas or areas with more hills.
