There is a tremendous amount of history at Pioneer Village. Most of the vehicles are crammed so closely together that it's hard to get a good look or pictures. Most of the vehicles are what you'd expect to see at most museums, nothing too rare...More

We traveled here with another couple after hearing about it from friends. It is definitely worth a stop. We really enjoyed the huge museum and all the buildings in the village out back. So much to see.

Don't be put off by the exterior; this is an old attraction that's showing its age. Once you get inside you will be BLOWN AWAY by the quality and quantity of items on display. It's like a Smithsonian museum in the middle of Nebraska. Everything...More

If my sister hadn't told me that we MUST go visit the Pioneer Museum on our trip to Kearney, we wouldn't have. Even as we drove up, I thought, This could be a mistake". The exterior and signage seemed kitchy. The collection is AMAZING. Very...More

Hard to answer. If you were really in to history and Americana and were going to read EVERY sign - then two days. I think 6 hours at the most would suffice for most people. If you are in a group it seems really unlikely... More
