Two models of the LnC boat, elevated view of Missouri River through tree tops. Interactive learning, demonstrations, extensive book collection and museum pieces for sale. High knoll park on riverside. Extremely well-informed staffers and writers about the place.

They have indoor and outdoor things to see and do. You can try your hand at rowing a boat, exploring a small hiking trail, or crawling through a prairie dog den.

We enjoyed the museum, but went through it very quickly. There were things for the kids to do that kept them entertained. We liked the hike out to the river view and the earth lodge. Overall we spent just a tad over an hour there.
