We went to Lake Maloney for an afternoon of water sports (skiing and tubing). The kids had a blast and it was a good time. The boat ramp was easy to use and parking was more than sufficient. We had an excellent afternoon.

Great place to go for a day at the lake, on the beach, or picnicking with the family. Lots of open space. Water is always quite warm during the summer.

Lake Mahoney is a nice little lake close to North Platte. They have picnicking area and water access. There is camping around the lake and they are putting in bike paths around the lake.

Great lake for camping, boating and swimming. Lots of areas to find a spot to do your thing. Easy access to lake. Easy access to restaurants and store for supplies--don't have to drive into town for those items you might have forgotten.

Nice little lake 15min away from the interstate. Place was clean and green. It was the perfect pit stop on our road trip.
