We decided to make a quick visit before leaving Valentine. My daughter (10 years old) loved the prairie dogs. We never could find any buffalo. The hike to Fort Falls was nice. The path was shady and cool even though it was a warm day.

People in the visitors center were very helpful. Best part of the auto tour was all of the prairie dogs.
