The history is sad, but the architecture is amazing and the grounds outstanding. Anyone wanting to take a step back in history should visit this place.

Came upon this site by accident and was so glad we took the time to visit everything and learn about the Stewart Indian Center. Great in all ways! It was so interesting and educational. Our high school grandson was very impressed.

when I used to live in carson city this was still the indian school, and i had only been by. this trip we spent an hour or so and walked around many of the buildings. if you like old stone buildings, you will love this...More
