We go to all the state Capitols in the states we travel thru and this was one of the best. The grounds are extensive and beautiful. The old capitol building was used by the senate, assembly and Supreme Court in addition to the Governors office...More

This is a nice place to visit. The people were very friendly an accommodating. The grounds are well maintained and comfortable. The law enforcement memorial is a must see.

Anytime you are visiting a state capital you must stop by its Capital Building. They are open to the public, free, and have some insight about the history of the state and its government. The Nevada State Building is over a 100 years old, still...More

This is not particularly iconic but friendly staff helped us enjoy the rooms open to the public and we were shown round the private office of the Secretary of State

The Capitol building is more of a museum. the house and senate are not in the building. The staff was extremely helpful with information. The Governor's office is in this building. When we were coming down the stairs the Governor came over to us and...More

Beautiful grounds winter or summer... in the next door legislative building there is a unique gift shoppe to explore...enjoy Carson City...it is a pretty little town.
