I've been to a lot of small town museums in my days but this has got to be the cleanest and the most professionally displayed museum I've ever seen. There were tons of different and historical things to see. I definitely recommend this museum to anyone who is travelling on the Loneliest Road in America.

We were up early to take the BLM guided tour of Hidden Cave. We were very impressed with the quality of display and upkeep on the exhibits. Lots of fun. Highly recommend.

Nothing is open in Fallon on Sunday except this museum--but lucky for us it was! Nice displays of old stuff, lots of fun to look through. Also free!

Lots of local history depicted in the displays. The volunteers are knowledgeable and a great place to take kids. Nice little gift shop with a fabulous collection of books. Worth a stop in!

We went to the Churchill County Museum. Admission is by donation. The staff is nice. We liked seeing the historical family home exhibits. They also have a very nice rock collection. There is a very large collection of obsidian arrow heads also. There is a room of historic bank safes. There is a superb bird photography pictures taken by Greg... More

This no charge museum is filled with history of the local area. Staff is friendly and helpful ("don't tell me how to do my job, I've done this a few times" got a chuckle out of me.) Well preserved local cultural items that you would not see in the big city museums make it memorable.

We go to as many small town museums as we can. We agree that the Churchill Museum is the best so far. It is big and full of interesting displays. My wife had questions about a socialist colony at the turn of the last century. The people at the desk went way out of their way to help her for... More
