A surprisingly informative museum in the former courthouse. The staff was very friendly and informative. it was divided up into room by theme - not too cluttered. As usual with " pioneer mueums " a little lite on the Native Americans who came before. The...More

I stopped in here on an afternoon bike ride & found this two floor museum very charming. Lot of local history and the old city jail in the basement. They really pack a local punch.

A really great museum of history about Genoa. Lots of artifacts and excellent descriptions of life back in the day. Two floors and well worth the price of admission.

If you're visiting Genoa, you absolutely should stop in! Genoa is of course the oldest settlement in Nevada, but it is a small town and what a treasure for it to have such an extensive museum! My favorite part is the recreated courtroom upstairs.

Great taste of Local history from the early 1900's. Like taking a walk back in time to the outlaw days when horses and buggies were the mood of transportation. Nice tour guide and friendly staff. Small fee
