It went from moderate strait to difficult. I go to the gym 2-3times a week, so I'm not that out of shape. I'm very grateful I picked up a stick to use as a hiking pole which I really used. It started out nice and easy and soon turned to difficult as I was climbing over the boulders on all... More

Easy 20 minute drive from SLT, but not easy to find parking. Must get there early. Not technically difficult, but has about a 1/4 mile of moderately strenuous trail. Loved the views, especially now that the water flow is low and you can easily cross the streams and get unique photo ops. Strongly recommend you pay attention to where the... More

This is not a really easy hike but not too difficult either. Worth the effort when you get to the falls. Take a break and dip your tired toes into the ice cold stream. Breathtaking views and great experience for the entire family. Park at the end of the campground or by the lookout service area.

About 1.5 km go and back. An easy walk which fits everybody, kids and seniors. At the end, you get to heaven, a lot of small water falls and small pools where you can dip your legs or take even take a shower.

This falls is pretty but if you have bad knees or hips it's tough. Mostly rocky stone steps uphill, little shade. I prefer eagle falls. Cascade falls was approximately 1.5-2 miles each way from inspiration point parking lot. Go early. It was hot, parking wasn't too bad if you go early. You may be able to park closer and save... We took this hike because it was listed as "easy". We quickly learned that "easy" mountain hike is NOT equal to "easy" hill hikes back home. You don't need special equipment; however, hiking boots and a trek pole or walking stick would be beneficial. Take water and wear sunscreen. I would not take infants, toddlers or little ones who wonder... More

The falls are best in the spring and early summer. They were flowing well when we visited in mid-June. The hike is about a mile each way. It starts out fairly easy, but soon begins to climb. It will take a little work to get there, but the trail is well maintained. The trail takes you to the top of... More

A short and easy hike to such an amazing place. I visited in early spring and besides the main falls there were many other rivers of water rushing to get to the bottom. I found some flat comfy rocks right at the edge where the main body of water plunges over. Looking down past my feet I watched the water... More

Cascade Falls is very picturesque. You will take so many pictures. The weather was perfect. Get out of the casinos and enjoy nature, plus it's FREE....

Cascade Falls was a good hike with a nice view of the lake. The waterfall was beautiful from afar;however it was not the view I expected up close as you are right on top of the falls. However, it was still an enjoyable hike. Do take note that there are a lot of rocky, steep parts of the trail!
