We spent about 3 hours at the Freemont Street Experience and loved every minute of it! Between the live bands, the light show each hour, and the people watching, we were entertained at every moment. We were able to buy drinks and walk around taking...More

Freemont Street offers a ceiling light & music show in the evenings; great Vendor booths set up throughout the street, good souvenir shops, good eats, etc

We enjoyed Fremont more than the strip! On a Saturday we were able to see free concerts & make sure you make a reservation for the Zip line! Do it later if you can when all the lights are on. We so enjoyed!

I would say staying at the Golden Nugget is a bonus for you. Freemont Street is free. There may be cover charges for some of the clubs at New Years. Great idea and great that you're planning early.

Park off site and take Uber or a taxi. Parking is terrible. We did uber and it cost about $10 including tip.
