This is a great place to go no matter your outdoor or hicking preference because you can just drive through and be amazed at everything around you. We were there on a mostly cloudy day - even so, it was a sight to see! But OH!!! When the sun came out it is jaw drop[ping. Go Enjoy the eye candy!

My wife and I had a fabulous time on the Pink Jeep Tour of Red Rock Canyon. The guide was informative, engaging and fun. The people we toured with were fantastic. The sites and views were awesome! What a wonderful way to see such incredible beauty.

We walked a moderate trail but found that the trails were not that clearly defined and definitely wandered into difficult paths. There was one point where we had to crawl up a huge boulder in order to get to a flat surface. It was terrifying but also amazing. You must come prepared. Sunblock, water, hiking shoes, gloves to protect hands... More

A quick ride from Vegas, but you feel like you are a world away. We enjoyed the scenic drive and the Lost Creek Trail. We saw a beautiful waterfall on the trail that was probably extra full from the recent rains.

Weather was rainy our first day but created amazing views and pictures the next day. Visited early and were happy to have less crowds, friendly visitors and amazing views and pictures. As we left we saw lots of cars lined up along the scenic route and more waiting to get in.

We went early in the morning and the play of light on the rocks was amazing, constantly changing. It is a very easy drive from Las Vegas, a really nice respite from the smoker`s heaven of Vegas!

If you can't drive to the Grand Canyon, Red Rock Canyon is the close to The Strip, 50 minutes drive. You can hike here so wear a comfortable walking/hiking shoes. This closes at 5 pm so try to come before closing. Great to watch the sunset. This is definitely worth the trip if you are already in Las Vegas.

I highly recommend paying the $7 to ride down the scenic road and taking in the views of Red Rock. You can drive it in as little as 35 minutes, but you'll probably want to make a couple of stops or maybe do some hiking.
