We had to walk through the casino to get to our meetings everyday. The smoke from smokers gambling was awful. Seeing old and unhealthy people sitting at gambling machines in the middle of the day like a bunch of zombies was disturbing and a bit sad.

This casino is off the beaten path for most visitors I think. Adjacent to the Suncoast and Summerlin area this casino is much quieter than those on the strip but just as much fun. Check it out for a change of pace or on your way back from Red Rock Canyon.

Very good casino--Better odds than on the Strip. Casino could have been a bit cleaner and there was a lot of smoke. However, we enjoyed the people and it was video poker heaven-lots and lots of machines.

Been to the Rampart before, but on this trip it became my "go to" casino. I rarely gamble on the strip any more. Very good video poker odds, including 9/6 JoB video poker. 3/2 black jack, which is become rare on the strip. $5 tables during the day. Friendly people not crowded, a locals place. I stayed 4 nights on... More

Located in the JW Marriott in lovely Summerlin, NV...about 20 minutes away from The Strip. Ample parking. Casino is round with the tables games on the "inside" of the circle. ATM's. Clean restrooms. Good a/c that is ample when needed. Slot games that are the newer games along with the favorite "old" so it's always fun playing here. Beverage service... More

We played many of the games and sometime lost and quite often won. We saw a gentleman win over $6,500 on a $3 bet. Popular with the locals. There were 2 live bands on Saturday night - one seemed to be for a wedding reception. Both were very good and played long sets.

This casino is attached to the JW Marriott and we used it as an escape. So glad we didn't judge the casino on the what we experienced at the JW...the two are night and day! The casino was spotless and is in a circle configuration so unlike most casinos it was easy to get around and see where you wanted... More

Rampart is a good local casino and is not too big. A good match to be with the JW Marriott resort. The machines seem to allow you to win enough to keep you playing for a while which is nice. Locals seem loyal and a good place for those in the Summerlin to come. Host Keith K. does an amazing... More

2nd visit here. For the most part, this resort is well kept. The casino attached to the resort has seen better days. For the much elderly locals. Staff friendly and helpful...always willing to accommodate. Rooms large and clean...as should be. With plenty of spots to eat in or close by. Good fitness center as well. Will be back.
