Our four year old granddaughter picked this place to celebrate her birthday. There are lots of things to climb. I was impressed by the creative play area - a pirate ship, a stage, a castle, costumes. It is a place where children can pretend and play. There are also educational displays that are interactive. It was busier than we expected... More

Two girls ages 7 & 5 had a great 3 hours working there way through the 3 different floors. The climbing seemed to be the best part for them. We will bring them again on future trips to Vegas. The staff was very involved when needed and close by at all times.

We decided to take our 7 year old to visit the Children's Discovery Museum and he had a ball. This is definitely a place for children not afraid to explore different activities. Plan your visits when there aren't school field trips as it will prolong your visit. When our visit initially started around 1100am, there were approximately 8 school buses... More

Visited with kids 12, 8 and 4. They all loved it and we spend a very fun packed afternoon. Each of the exhibit rooms are really different and interesting: the air-sea rescue room and the investigation in the old mine were highlights. The whole museum is anchored around a huge climbing frame that is worth the visit by itself! The... More

This a fun and educational place not only for children but also for adults. We had fun at the grocery store area. The children pretended to be cashiers and we were the shoppers. I specially liked the area were we will build a car from legos and see how fast it will run through the tracks. They have an annual... More

When you travel with young children, you have to find ways to entertain them, and that often means paying a visit to places designed with kids in mind. Children’s museums are an obvious choice and during a family vacation to Las Vegas, we did indeed find time to take the kiddos to this attraction, Discovery Children’s Museum. At Discovery Children’s... More

The museum was great, reasonably priced at $14.50 a person. They have 3 full floors, and my 5 year old and I were here about 4 hours which was the perfect amount of time. There is free parking and it's also walkable to the outlets which is nice. Perfect off-strip activity for kids.

We went here so the kids could do something fun, since Vegas is mainly known for adult entertainment. They ended up having a BLAST! They loved that there was different things to do there. We spent majority of a day there when we originally planned on going for a few hours. Definitely recommended for children of ALL ages!

My 4th trip with grandkids to this amazing museum. I loved how excited they were when I told them we were going. Since they are under 13, I have to stay with them. My favorite rooms are the water area and the pirate/castle/theater as there is a place for me to sit. They are very independent in this museum and... More
