Beautiful but smells like old perfume and smoke
Let me start by saying - absolutely stunning opportunity to walk back in time to when champagne flowed and beads sparkled. A very flapper, Gatsby feel. But there was an overwhelming smell (IDK if they pumped it in or what) of old perfume and smoke
We, THE COSMOPOLITAN Staff and Executive team, would like to thank you for your kind words. Our architects worked hard to make your stay, photos and experience a magical moment with every step inside. However, we apologize for anything that seemed a bit 'different'. Great location on the strip
Beautiful hotel and casino. I was worried about the smoke permeating into the rooms, but there was no smoke smell in our rooms at all! We had a view of the Bellagio fountains and watched them from our balcony on several occasions. The restaurant and bar selection was great! Housekeeping checked our keys if we made it back to our rooms while they were in there so we really appreciated that little touch of extra security.
We hope you enjoyed every moment here! Can't wait to see you again soon! Our security tries their hardest to add any additional support for your vacation & comfort. As an Identity customer we truly care about how you feel. - 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗖𝗢𝗦𝗠𝗢𝗣𝗢𝗟𝗜𝗧𝗔𝗡 𝗼𝗳 𝗟𝗮𝘀 𝗩𝗲𝗴𝗮𝘀 | 𝘎𝘳𝘢𝘯𝘵 𝘓𝘦𝘪𝘯𝘨𝘢𝘯𝘨

Great location, service and facilities, couldn't want more for an easy holiday!
Just planning my fifth visit to Vegas, had a 2 year break during Covid. I Married my girlfriend of 15 years in Vegas last year in the Cosmopolitan, I know, I took my time ;-) so retuning. Been to the Cosmo 3 times previously for holiday only from the UK. First visit to Vegas 2017 was the Luxor and that was also great, BUT a lot of walking. The Cosmo is located in such a great place right in the middle of the strip, never had a problem with any room, although TV reception can be a bit "iffy", the balcony is a plus as is the sunken bath and the view of the fountains (although I couldn't hear the music). In all I'd say on par a great place to stay and good value ( I did book a year ago), I obviously can't speak for those that have rated on the low side BUT some people do expect the earth without paying for it (Oh, it's my birthday, anniversary, wedding when at reception / booking in) and feel they don't get the comps! I'll be back in 73 days for a week of luxury for my first anniversary ;-)
We're glad you had a phenomenal experience! Come back soon! - 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗖𝗢𝗦𝗠𝗢𝗣𝗢𝗟𝗜𝗧𝗔𝗡 𝗼𝗳 𝗟𝗮𝘀 𝗩𝗲𝗴𝗮𝘀 | 𝘎𝘳𝘢𝘯𝘵 𝘓𝘦𝘪𝘯𝘨𝘢𝘯𝘨

    Hotel/casino ranking -Luxury/Value
The hotel order on trip advisor imo is completely wrong if you’re rating the nicest if would be Wynn cosmo bellagio aria then prolly (Venetian I can’t speak for) for high luxury casinos if your looking for value that’s a separate story I wouldn’t put Ceasers on their because it’s too many touristy people that aren’t staying their & for basic rooms they’re dated other then Augustus tower. Fountain blue Resort 🌎 & hard rock with the Wynn/encore venitian all on the north end of the strip will make it the best part when everything is finished so either stay their or city center a great value hotel is park mgm no vip room but located next to aria in city center w restaurants Toshiba ctr t mobile arena etc. I go to Vegas 4/6 times a year so glad cosmo is under mlife mgmt.

    what a great place!
what great place! I don't know why it took me so long to check out this resort. my husband and I tried a few slots but it was more of getting to know this facility. the diamond bar server did an outstanding job taking care of us while we recuperated from the heat. we will definitely have to try the hotel in the future. I loved the food hall and they food selections!

Lot's of fun excellent rooms, friendly, helpful staff. Great food, great fun a smashing good time.
The Cosmopolitan is an exceptional place to stay and play. Great food, excellent rooms and top-notch service. No matter what I always have excellent food, top notch service, right in the heart of Las Vegas Strip. Even when I've had an issue or two, the staff handled everything quickly and efficiently. Book your stay at the Cosmopolitan and make sure you try every food place you can. The Chelsey tower is my favorite, fountain view side. And folks if you have an issue just call the front desk, they'll fix it. Great restaurants include but not limited to. 1. Wicked Spoon 2. Egg Slt 3. MO 4. STK 5. Tikka Bar, Handroll and Sake 6. Starbucks 7. LPM Restaurant and Bar 8. Lardo And so many more try them all, you will not be disappointed. Michael Wellington

    Good drinks while gambling
Great midday drink service if you want to gamble (get free drinks) during nap time. $5 first tip and $3 each drinks get you a server every 15-20 minutes If you know nothing about gambling, a slot machine will say min xx credits or $XX. That is the minimum bet on the machine, even if it is a penny slot. Some machines allow you to switch games, often the game that is not the default one has lower limits. Then there are the number of lines you are playing, this is how you win. Some machines allow you to change this. Some of the older machines we have a low amount you can win, like $10 on a $0.01 line without a jackpot. These machines are more fun since they do a lot more small payouts and aren’t saving money for the big one. Find one of these machines that costs less than $0.25 minimum (play at least 9 lines, preferably just 9 lines since going up doesn’t dramatically increase your payout number of spins on 3 rows, it does increase your winnings when wilds hit, but I prefer frequent small wins for low cost),and after an hour you will have had 3-4 decent cocktails and likely within $5 of what you started with. I played mid casino acrossish from the red neon lips in a shop. Best part is the machines I liked were in a row so you can socialize. This doesn’t get you rich, but gets you drinks and is fun. Then you can always go and play the table games.

At least 1/4 of the rooms at the Cosmo overlook the hotel’s Marquee Day/Nightclub. It blasts music from noon ‘til night, which seemed like a small annoyance (it made it unpleasant to sit on the balcony we paid extra for), until our last night, when the club blasted music until 4:00 a.m. I am a very heavy sleeper; I could not sleep at all. We were 33 floors up.

When I called at 2:00 a.m. to ask when the madness would end, the person at customer service said that “they only tell us that it will be ‘late night.’” She made clear that they get these complaints all the time and that there would be no compensation. She offered to send earplugs. When they didn’t come adter 30 more minutes of blasting, I walked in my pajamas to the front desk to ask for earplugs. When I asked the front desk guy if he had any idea what it was like in these rooms, he said “actually, I’ve never stayed here.” What a lucky guy.

I will never go back. I’ve never complained about a hotel before, but this was beyond unacceptable. It’s fraudulent to sell hotel rooms without disclosing that they cannot be used for sleeping. Every exec at this hotel should be forced to sleep here.

Beautiful and glamorous casino~ Iconic for their dazzling chandeliers.
This casino was very busy at nearly all hours but still had plenty of seating available.

This was a disaster. They oversold the hotel, and cancelled my reservation without notifying me. I asked for assistance in finding another hotel since the lobby has no reception, I was simply told “no, sorry”… The worst part is I confirmed my stay yesterday as I always do the day before travel. As a lifetime Titanium Elite Member, it has me completely rethinking my loyalty to this brand..

Been staying at Cosmo for many yrs, but last 2 trips I’ve been so disappointed. Ripped blankets, dirty furniture, no tissues in box, no slippers, broken sink, missing glasses, broken light bulbs, dirty rug.. etc Tonight was the last straw. While playing slots in casino, someone knocked into me & his partner grabbed my players card & tkt for $265. When I realized what happened I told identity desk, host on duty & security. Staff was extremely dismissive. They said they could see which machine my tkt was used at, but they wouldn’t do anything further other than advise me to change my pin. Wont stay or play here again:(

Terrible hotel and mismanaged from the top to the bottom
We found glass on the shower floor on Saturday morning. We couldn't use the bathroom or shower that day on an important day for our family. We called Guest services, and the front desk 3x. With little to no help from their security department, we were forced to cancel our meetings and appointments due to the negligence of the hotel management and house keeping. When we went to Security to file a report, they then bullied us into trespassing and was going to have us thrown out. After spending $500+ per night, we were treated with the utmost hostility and lack of empathy from the entire staff. The staff are not happy to be working and they take it out on their paying guests. I will not reccomend this hotel to anyone. It's better to support another establishment and that treats their guests like humans. 0/5. Will not go back and avoid at all costs. Wynn hotel or the Venetian are the better options. If you google Meek Mill trespassed, you will see the lawsuit against cosmo in 2019. Nothing has changed since.

Major let down, arrived for a one night stay since we double booked at Nomad. Decided to stay one night at the cosmo and do the balcony suite facing the fountains. Got into a room surveyed the room. First thing we noticed was the door knob to the water closet was following off. Upon opening the door there was dried up urine/vomit on the toilet. As we walked to the balcony food crumbs on the floor. Been coming to Vegas since 2013 about 1-4 times per year. This is the 2nd time I left a hotel without actually staying there the first was Circus Cirus back in 2013.

Luckily we were double booked at Nomad a went back there.
