Visiting with Friends walking Fremont Street. So much to see and do as a tourist. Places to eat, shops to check out and a zipline

When I was a child I always wondered where the cowboy neon sign was. Now I have seen him he is everything I hoped he would be. It's a shame he doesn't move the way he used to or blow smoke anymore but I was just pleased to see him in real life. Vic is a icon of Vegas and... More

Didn't know I could review a neon sign... It's a big one, but not sure why I would give more stars... Just a bit of trivia, Vegas Vic has a twin named River Rick down in Laughlin at the Pioneer...

On my 3rd or 4th trip to Las Vegas for business, I finally decided to see what the old Las Vegas was, so I headed down to Fremont Street and paid my respects to Old Vic. I looked at him for a few minutes as I walked down the street and imagined what the old Las Vegas was like. It... More

The fact that they are tearing all the old stuff down & the stuff they replace it with is usually not as attractive - Vegas Vic is always great to see! Classic Las Vegas!

My first time in Las Vegas was 1952 with my uncle and brother. I remember Vegas Vic as we stayed downtown. Downtown were it all was. Now almost 55 years later he still stands and greets folks on Fremont Street. When downtown say "howdy" to Vic.

Vic stands over Fremont street where the Freemont experience is located. He has been standing there since 1951. The sign currently is outside of a souvenir shop. If you were going for the experience, definitely see it. Otherwise, it is not worth making a separate trip for.

Iconic and a must see on Fremont Street. Get your pic with Vic. Don't forget to learn the history of this great attraction as well.

Wow, just old school Vegas, not worth the trip just for this but the whole experience - awesome. When on Fremont Street, look up!
