The Bourbon Room is great for 80's music and a fun environment! Enjoyed two hours of drinking with friends and was slightly surprised by a $300 bar bill, but this is Vegas so I gladly added 20% and signed on the dotted line. The next day I reviewed my bill to see that the waitress added a 40% charge for a large group (5) plus an additional 40% gratuity! To add insult to injury she fat-fingered the tip so my $360 total was charged as $370 to Amex.

Being a "Lady of the 80's", I love the Bourbon Room! The service was friendly and as prompt as they could be…the place was packed! The DJ's (dressed like Twisted Sister) were engaging. The DJ's would go into the bar and ask for requests. The dance floor was packed. Very fun! The drinks cost the typical LV cost. No cover charge. Inside the Venetian by the casino.

Great bar inside the Venetian! Provided of course you like 80's music & video's. Good mix of Rock, Pop and a little alternative. Great Bourbon & Whisky selection (duh! read the name). Bar tenders were very friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this place if you are of "advanced years" and don't want a kiddie scene. The only down side is they are very pricey! Not expected based on the location and I personally don't mind paying a premium, especially for high end brown liquor, but if your a little tight wallet-ed, don't come here.

This has been our favourite place to go have a drink and dance to some 80s music.... no more... it's now an upscale cocktail bar.... big couches... no room for dancing ....

You have a lot of fancy-schmancy bars in Vegas - but one with really cool rock music is hard to find. The Bourbon Room (at the Venetian) is a welcome exception. There you have a bar with a nice atmosphere, extremely friendly and cool bar tenders - and really good rock music, inspired by the '80s respectively the musical "Rock Of Ages". The perfect bar for a nice drink with cool music! Very, very unfortunately the new director of the Venetian has decided to close this bar - a new "fancy" one will come.... Biggest mistake they can do!!!!

After a great time at the Rock of Ages we took our group of 14 over to The Bourbon Room. We've been there a half dozen times before and always had a great time.

We ordered a couple rounds before noticing that we were being charged a large group surcharge of 18% in addition to the automatic gratuity of 18%. It didn't matter if we ordered for a all of us or just for some of us...every bill came with both surcharges.

I'm all for a business making money but that's over the top. Charge the 18% automatic gratuity but not an additional surcharge. Really disappointed. We won't be back.

Was here after the Rock of Ages show last night. First off maybe they could have the MC shut the hell up and maybe play music, over an hour of his stupid show that was highly annoying and not even in the slightest funny. Ugg.

Second the wait staff running the floor should learn some manners and not be so pushy and predatory with customers. Seriously on a Monday night they should be happy people are even there opposed to forcing bottle service on people who were sitting in their section prior to them even being on the clock. B i t c h.

And lastly never ever move my credit card from the bartender to a wait staff member without my permission.

Totally clueless and would never go there again. Sour taste in my mouth when all I wanted was a couple drinks and some 80's music. Las Vegas has missed its calling for the 40's crowd that would and could pay well to have a fun place to go for dancing and 80's music.

Ok, so we totally go to Vegas WAY too much. That's just A.
But last year when we stayed at The Venetian (which BTW, this hotel is AMAZING) we had the privilege of discovering The Bourbon Room. Friends, you MUST go here! If you enjoy not only the hits of the 80's and early 90's exclusively, but also the videos to go with these sweet, sweet jams, this is the place for you! The crowd is great....all ages but if I'm being real mostly 30's and up I would say, and that is TOTALLY fine with me! Everyone is having a great time, there is room to move & sit! And you don't have to pay table service fee's of $1000 to sit first! Imagine that! In Vegas! The waitresses are not the fastest, but it's cool because the service at the bar is pretty quick.
Went back to Vegas a couple more times after the first trip in April and yes, visited The Bourbon Room EVERY time! Took new friends every time as well and no matter who they were they had the best time. Can't reiterate enough. SO. MUCH. FUN!
Overall, GO HERE. You will NOT be sorry.

Went to bourbon room this past weekend with some girlfriends. We had a fun time there and while the entertainment was a little cheesy, there was no cover and it's one of the only strictly 80s places we could find in Vegas. The evening was ruined when I got the bill. I'd opened a tab so my friends wouldn't have to worry about cash and we'd settle later. When I got the bill I found I was charged for 3 Fiji waters that we'd sent back unopened as we'd actually asked for tap water and were bought bottled water but the big ripoff was the 18% charge we were levied for a "large party". I asked the waitress how 4 girls is a large party? She said that one of my friends bought a guy a beer. Still 5 is not a large party....... And upon later reconciliation we found all the beers were bought by one of my girlfriends, not anyone else. After arguing she took one of the Fiji waters off the bill but wouldn't budge on the rest of the bill. Knowing they had my number and that it wasn't going anywhere i paid and left. Bottom line - don't open a tab, and if you are a group of girls head somewhere else where you won't get ripped off.
