So my boyfriend is all in to the history of what happened in the WW II so as a surprise I book are tickets for here. It was great to see the artifacts there and hear stories from the people who worked there.

If you are intrigued by the atomic testing, I think this museum is a must. I believe the hop on hop off buses stop here. It was intriguing, but I believe they should try to add a bit more to it to gain more interest.

The two are in very different locations and the Site Tour is first thing in the morning to late with a chartered bus. The hours for the museum is limited. Will have to be on different days.

I see others already answered, but yes there is a nice on-site lot with free parking. Enjoy.
