First time to this location.
NY strip and tiny lobster tail special 2oz (?) $15; must have a drink other than water.
Ok for price. Felt a little rushed by server.
Host ( young gentleman ) very nice and pleasant.
Unfortunately I forgot his name.

The hotel is spacious with a larger than expected casino. The variety of food choices brought the "wow" factor.

The Aliante is a very nice casino. The hotel is a clean, comfortable place to stay. The pool area is small and the fees for cabanas are quite expensive. The pool area can get crowded if hotel occupancy is high. Best time to go is in an off season.

Just a 25 minute Ride from the Las Vegas strip is an oasis in the desert. You will find free parking, good food an excellent swimming pool and entertainment. The rules are nice and clean and there are stores nearby to do some shopping. Aliante is a great choice to visit.

If you are the type of person who has a flip phone and no need for fast internet and don't mind sleeping on an uncomfortable mattress, then this is the place for you.

My daughter and I were in town for my niece's wedding and didn't want to deal with the crowds on the strip, so we decided to stay at the Aliante. What a mistake. I'm an IT guy with a lot of customers and occasionally need to remote into their computers to fix something. We arrived early for the wedding and I needed to check on something for a customer on a Friday. I was stunned to see that the Internet they provide for their "resort fee" was only 1 Mbps up and down. You could pay extra for 10 Mpbs, which is still slow these days, but I'm already paying over $30 for their resort fee, which is supposed to include internet, coffee and valet parking. The 1 Mpbs was so slow, I couldn't help my customer. This slow of a speed would have been considered fast 20 years ago, but not today. I've gotten faster internet, not to mention a much more comfortable mattress at a Best Western.

Let's talk about their cheap coffee maker. Most places these days have a small Keurig coffee maker. I like those because I sometimes bring extra pods because hotels never provide enough coffee. Their coffee maker is what I used to see in hotels and motels years ago. It's a slide-in tray that makes barely drinkable coffee. I assume these are the original coffee makers put in when the hotel first opened.

Speaking of cheap, the TV is a first-generation LCD that was probably installed 15 years ago. I'm used to hotels that have modern flat-screen TVs with multiple HDMI ports. When my daughter and I travel, we'll bring an Amazon Fire stick to catch up on shows when we're not out and about. We couldn't do that with this TV. It's so old it has a serial port and the display is so bad you can see the individual pixels. I have a ten-year-old LED TV at home that is much, much clearer.

Lastly, the mattress. OMG, it was so uncomfortable. I woke up with a backache every morning. It's relatively thin, maybe 8 inches, on a hard platform. Again, I've had much more comfortable mattresses at the various national chain hotels. I wouldn't be surprised to hear that these are the original mattresses.

Overall, it's a nice-looking hotel. The lobby is spectacular. The room is nice, although very small. The view from our 8th-floor room is spectacular. The bathroom is very nice except it's also very small and there's no privacy if someone just wants to use the toilet. We very much regret staying here. It was based on the positive reviews on Tripadvisor, but I assume most of those are for the casino. The casino is nice if you love smoke. The staff is very nice and a highlight of the Aliante. For us, however, we'll never stay here again.

First visit to this casino north of downtown Las Vegas. Beautiful property located outside of the busy strip near the beautiful mountains. Easy to find, convenient to main highways. All employees very friendly. This property part of Boyds gaming so already a member of the B-connected club as well. We played for several hours and in the end we each earned more points which we converted to free play before we left. This is a must see property if you're visiting Vegas.
