We attended a concert at the Reno Events Center and discovered many flaws with the facility. When you enter the lobby area, there is not enough room to handle the crowd. People standing in multiple lines purchasing drinks are blocking people trying to get back to the arena entrance and causing lots of bumping and jostling around. Lots of beer... More

Chris Rock was hilarious! The venue was fine . There is not a bad seat in the Center. You do have to check your phone in a sealed bag that is locked during the show . Security unlocks it as you leave. You take your phone out of the bag and give the bag back to security. It's great everyone... More

It is huge open space that is designed to handle rock bands and athletic events - the two things I have attended here. It seems to be very flexible for the type of event from a gazillion people coming to see a classic band, Crosby, Stills and Nash, to a somewhat smaller crowd coming to see our very own NBA... More

Overall fairly nice venue to watch and event. Easy parking at the various downtown casinos and very walkable from there.

Had a chance to catch Florida/Georgia Line in concert at the Reno Events Center, & I've gotta say, I was really surprised at how nice & professional the setup was. Sound system, sight lines, & overall ambiance were on par with much bigger & more prestigious venues. If you've got a chance to catch a concert here, do it!

Went to see an 8 PM show and parked at the Bowling Center next Door. Parking was supposed to be free and it was NOT. Rode the elevator down to the main level of the Bowling Center and the only open room was the Bowling Museum. The Reno Event Center was not yet open for the show, so we thought... More

I have been there several times for various venues. For trade or shopping it is set up very well and convenient. For entertainment it is a poor venue. Flat floor seating with poor sound. Good if you like looking over or around the person in front of you.

i just got back yesterday from the R.O.S.E International Doll show in Layton, UT. Layton is not far from Salt Lake City and there is a shuttle to take you from the airport to the hotel (didn't use it so I don't know if there was a fee). The conference and trade show were in the conference center attached to... More

I love this venue for concerts, it's small and so all seats are good. The staff is really nice and on this concert the staff was especially cool as they let the attendees take pictures and videos right in front of stage before asking us to return to our seats. As a huge fan I really appreciated this as it... More

Attended the 1st Big Sky Basketball Tournament held in Reno and at the Events center. Not a bad facility at all. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Seats are not the best for basketball as they start about 30 feet back from the court. Over all though it was a decent facility. Concession prices are steep but they do serve... More
