I played here last month right after flying in from IL, so I didn't play well, but it was a nice course. Very cheap prices with cart. The fairways are nice, the greens are, too. Overall, I'll play again next time I'm there.

I played there with my golf buddy and the course, greens, tee boxes, and even most of the fairways were in good condition. The price was right and the beer was cold.

My brother, White Buffalo, is a traditionalists when is comes to golf and likes course conditions "the way golf was meant to be played"; some yellow into the fairway, deeper rough, tee boxes and grounds that are not perfectly manicured. Washoe County golf course is not like today's generic courses which cater to the pampered golfer who expects perfectly mown,... More

This is one of the older courses in Reno. The greens are well kept and they are trying to keep the fairways green. The drought has taken the toll on the rough and practice facilities. Overall it does not impact play but visually hurts the appearance.

This tree lined 18 hole golf course is a nice one to play on a warm summer day. It was quite popular end July. The 19th hole watering hole (golf course bar/cafe) is OK too. There is also a driving range. The golf course is close to the casino area (probably closest one is the Peppermill) but it is an... More

Typical municipal course. Long flat straight fairways for the most part. Lost of tank tops and beer drinkers leaving refuse all over the course. Staff was great but to many other nice places to play in Reno

For golfing in March in Reno the course was in decent shape. The staff are very friendly so would go back. In the summer it would be even better. Would recomend

Was this a fun course! Played in less than ideal conditions (40 degrees with 20-25 mph winds), this is a slicer's dream. You'll be on the fairway even if it may not be your own. #1 tee is elevated with a great view of Reno and the mountains. Odd distances on some holes with one or two par 4's longer... More

I've been playing golf at Washoe for over thirty years. It's a wonderful muni layout built in the early 1930s as a WPA project. The fairways are lined with trees and there is water and some elevation changes. The course is more challenging than many people think, particularly three long par 4 holes, 9, 12, and 15. The restaurant has... More
