They named it correctly, because all it is is a walk along the river. I wasn't sure I was in the right place. It is just a concrete walkway above and alongside the Truckee river. There were about 3 Grill/Pub restaurants and one cinema and...More

We enjoyed our late afternoon walk along the river and watching the residents and guests of Reno have fun playing in the water and visiting the many restaurants in the area.

This was our first time walking westbound on the river. Much to our surprise we loved how nice and clean and beautiful it was. Walking eastbound had a bit more homeless people and not as safe.

We enjoyed walking on this route in the mornings. It is well kept is a nice path. Many locals use this daily. It is worth checking out especially if you are staying downtown.

You can see many stores and restaurant where to eat and good place to see the river with your other half. Also, good for a walk if you don't have any plan for the day.

There were a few restaurants with outside dining along the Riverwalk District. The view wasn't as nice as some other Riverwalk's I have been on. I would say it was average.

As locals, we're downtown fairly often. Last summer the river was a non-event with an uninspiring trickle (at best.) This year it's a powerful torrent - almost scary - to be so close to such energy - so close to it's confinement's border and capacity....More

With the restaurants, shops and parkland this public space was done right. Definitely worth a visit if you are in the area. Did notice a few homeless and gritty folk hanging around on this particular night but certainly nothing to fret over. What amazed me...More

This was a great place for a change of pace from the casinos and restaurants. It was relaxing, well-maintained and attractive. This is an easy walk from the casinos.

Yes, business will be open all year, sans the outdoor eating areas. More businesses and shops coming in all the time.

I agree with the 5 to 8 minute drive. Very nice on the weekends or early evening.
