We attended the Aloha festival as a surprise for my Mom. It was a nice quick walk from our hotel downtown. Unfortunately it was a VERY hotel weekend and there were very few trees in the park to help shade her from the sun.

There's always something going on at the Wingfield Park area. Be sure to check ahead online on the current happenings and events. Ideal place to check out in July due to Artown.

Nice outdoor entertainment. The amphitheater area was fairly clean, with some grassy areas for relaxing and enjoying the music of the day.

Great hang out during Art town! Right next to the river. During the summer there is so much to do and fun to be had. During one of our MANY food festivals grab some food and hang out by the river and enjoy the scenery.

We stayed at Peppermill hotel and this park is very close to our hotel. Only 15 minutes drove from the hotel. Good spot for family with young children or people who want take their dogs to the park. The view was really nice.

This small outdoor stage sits on an island in the Truckee River, in Reno's Riverwalk District. There are frequent events here, especially during Art Town. Bring a chair and enjoy the area.

The small amphitheater in Wingfield Park was perfect for a local festival which I found during a walk along the river. Wingfield Park is an island in the Truckee River and just the right size for music and food -- a perfect festival setting.
