We returned to see the Fourth Ward School Museum. It was erected in 1875. The school had 14 classrooms. It also had two study halls. It was built to accommodate 1025 students. The last graduating class was in 1936.

Didn't have a lot of time but made a quick visit to this historic school. Was interesting to see older rooms and how things were done at the school. Was a nice glimpse back in the past

My husband and I ate lunch here whilst spending some time in Virginia City. An old time saloon with decor to reflect the old era. Food was great and staff very helpful

Excellent old school beautifully preserved; with old class room settings, historical perspective of education in 1800's; worth a visit if you are into history and education.
