This was a great scenic railroad up Mount Washington. If you are not really into trains, take one of their biodiesel engine rides up the mountain. If you are a train lover, spend the extra money to ride the steam engine up the mountain. The...More

There's nothing like it that we know about. We've taken incline railroads but this cog system is unique and has stood the test of time. The views are, of course, spectacular, and the brakemen give interesting anecdotes along the way. I guess because the railway...More

Great trip! The steamer engine was cool. The staff was very helpful and knowledgeable. Took the opportunity to climb up into the engine and chat with the fireman and engineer. Great fellows!

This was the neatest ride. We all enjoyed the ride up and down the mountain and the view from the top is spectacular. Be prepared for changing weather at the top. Very windy when we were there. I hate thrill rides but felt very safe...More

My family and I took the steam Cog up to the summit. First of all be aware that by the time you get your tickets and take the round trip you will spend 3 plus hours. The day was a very cloudy day. The trip...More

Thank you for taking the time to post a review of our operation. I am sorry that you were not pleased with the experience. Unfortunately we have no control over the weather. For those riding the train solely looking to enjoy perfect weather and the...More
