I've been visiting capitol buildings whenever I get the chance. This one was enjoyable in different ways than others. For one, I can appreciate the frugality of the government in this building. It is fairly modest for a capitol building (it does not feature anything...More

We entered this charming building around 10:30 am and we were very cautious as our statehouse (Indiana) is not open easily to the public (metal detectors, etc). The security officer welcomed us warmly and gave us three printed brochures for the building and surrounding properties....More

We like to visit state capitals and found the New Hampshire staff the most welcoming yet! We stopped in the gift shop to get the self guided brochure and another couple was there too. Karen, one of the staff, volunteered to give us a tour,...More

We visited as part of our goal of visiting every state capital. Some state capitals are just welcoming to visitors, and New Hampshire’s is one of the best. Jim led our tour of the hall of flags and the house and senate chambers. We also...More

We were in Concord for a day. Of course we went downtown to see the gold-domed state house. We did not go inside because we thought there would be a security pass-through and didn't want to bother; and it was later in the afternoon by...More

Set right in the heart of downtown Concord, this is an architectural feast for the eyes....in miniature. Unlike the sprawling edifices in some state capitals, this is a beautiful and historic building set back from the road in a nice little park. We couldn't get...More

We did not have time to do the inside tour so we just walked around the grounds. The Saturday Famers Market was going on and that was very nice. They close one of the side streets and lots of local people set up and sell...More
