Took the twins for an afternoon on a Sunday, OMG what a blast they had ! There is so much for children to do there , we didn't really even scratch the surface as far as the interactive exhibits go , we will sign up as members next time we go.

Lots to see and do at this Children's museum in this great New England town. Visited for the first time with my daughter and granddaughter on her birthday. From the Dinosaur exhibits to the hands on music machine, lots for the kids to touch and explore. This seems mostly geared from toddlers to age 10 but the kids I saw... More

This is a fun indoor activity with lots of interaction exhibits. Geared more towards young toddlers - 10+ years old would likely get bored quickly.

This museum is definitely worth your time. It has different exhibits, more than you ever would expect. It has something of everything, all related to either Dover or New Hampshire. I won't go into detail, you need to go and see yourself. You also will be able to visit a Garrison house, that was moved manually in one piece from... More

I first found out about this trip when I accompanied my children on a field trip for American History. We were picked up by a trolly (Which I did not know we had in Dover) and taken to the Museum. The children enjoyed it and was fascinated to see an original Gable roof structure from the 1800. I have been... More

I had a family membership with kids ages 5 and 3 this past year. We visited the museum many times and while it helped find us something to do during the winter months, I would rate this as average for a children's museum in a small city such as Dover. When compared with Portland and Boston, the kids just run... More
