My husband and I spent a lovely May morning walking the trail in the park around Dorrs Pond over foot bridges, wooden boardwalks and well manicured pathways. Many other friendly people were enjoying this great place, too. We'll be back!

Nicely marked trail for biking, walking your pet, or for a short stroll. A little under a mile but beautiful scenery and great atmosphere. Not quite enough parking so get there early on a nice day.

I've frequented this park for more than 30 years. Great place for children & dog walking. It's also great for a quiet and even romantic scenic walk & their is ice cream right across the street. I think a nice inexpensive date park.

Yes, I've seen people having a picnic at a large wooden table at the beginning of the trail. I didn't look for other picnic tables but there must be some.

Leashed dogs are permitted and the park even provides plastic bags for waste removal.
Is camping allowed in the woods off the main walk trail?

No, the park is really too small, just a small and lovely oasis in the urban landscape of Manchester. the walking trail around the pond is only one mile in length.
