Manchester, NH is a fairly small city (a little more than 100,000 people) to have such a high quality art museum. It is especially good for 19th century American art, with several Hudson River school artists (Cole, Church, Crospey, etc.) in the collection. But be forewarned: these are not their major works like you would find in the Boston MFA,... More

Museum has some very nice exhibits from both European and American artists. The layout of the exhibits is very nice one room flows to the next. Museum is smaller than some but good... More

I love the career and it's so nice to have a museum of this quality in Manchester. Make sure you visit the Zimmerman house and the gift shop! They are always rotating their exhibit so you never get bored coming here! Highly recommended!

We recently visited the Currier specifically to view the Mount Washington exhibit and were delighted to find another very well done exhibit by the Currier staff, bravo! The Currier has the feel of a big city art museum. NH residents are fortunate to have such a wonderful gem of a museum with such an impressive collection. Plenty of parking in... More

We were surprised to see the crowd of people standing in line when the museum opened on Saturday morning. Lots of wonderful artwork to enjoy and the restaurant downstairs was very good with reasonable prices.
