The Currier building/architecture is worth the trip...never mind the ever-changing displays. There is also the Frank Lloyd Wright house that is part of the Currier thatyou can sign up to tour BUT those reservations must be made in advance.

Visited for the first time and enjoyed seeing the Monet exhibit-though small it was very well done. We used the free pass from our local Brookline Public Library and had lunch at the café--very good!

Lots of paintings from local artists. I look for special events and go to visit. One event that was amazing was the Samurai exhibit

Great way to spend an afternoon. Very well maintained, wide range of pieces spanning many periods. A smaller museum, so "self guided" tours are just fine. the museum has a great website, and new exhibits regularly. Well worth the $15 admission price, plenty of parking.

This is a "Baby Bear" of a museum....not too big, not too small....just right!!! Great, across-the-board exhibits from Monet to Medieval to Modern...and everything else in between. Not daunting or intimidating like some of the big city museums, this place has just enough of everything...More

A bit expensive at $15 a person, but the modern art section was excellent. They do have tours, so check out their website, or you can listen using your phone to experts discuss a few of the pieces of art. The American section was not...More
