Everything about Loons. This is a free, fun place with walking paths.

This is a great organization and are doing good to save the Loons. They have an excellent educational program that children would like as well as adults. They also have a nice... read more

This is a great organization and are doing good to save the Loons. They have an excellent educational program that children would like as well as adults. They also have a nice store where you can buy "loon type" items for your friends and teachers. On Thanksgiving weekend they have a free open house with all sorts of things for... More

My wife and I stopped in here as we are loon fans - we were not disappointed. There is no admission charge at all but you are of course free to leave a donation or buy a membership in the Loon Preservation Committee. It is a bit off the beaten path but we had no trouble finding it and there... More

After reading about the center in a local paper, we took a drive out to visit. Their gift shop is extensive, more things Loon than I have ever seen. They have a 20 minute movie that is informative and relaxing, explaining about the life cycle of a Loon. The center has hands on things for young visitors and all the... More

Looking for something to do we saw the ad for The Loon Center in a tourist booklet. A little out of the way, but worth the ride to find it. A very unassuming log cabin on a dirt road with walking trails, gift shop, educational room, videos about a year in the life of a loon, and much more. Learned... More

We were driving by and stopped on a whim. Glad we did!! The information center and gift shop was worth the stop. The exhibits were very well done. There is a guided walk but we didn't do that part--we weren't that whimsy. Besides it was a very hot day. I would recommend an early morning visit if it's going to... More

The Loon Center of New Hampshire is a true gem of an "attraction." Admission is free. The exhibits about loons are very informative and they are designed with kids in mind. There are also videos about loons that run upon request, nature trails, and a gift shop. Our kids enjoyed building the mock loon's nest. The gift shop is my... More

We have always been fascinated with Loons and wanted to learn more about them. The Loon Center provided a wealth information on the topic. We didn't realize that an adult male Loon weighs in at 16 lbs. and is as large as a Canada Goose. The live up to 30 years as well.
