can climb in winter

Allow about 45 minutes to go up as the snow can be crusty. Nice view of the town and Mt Cranmore but not a clear view of Mt Washington due to the low clouds

Had no idea what we would find at the end of the road leading up to the top of the Cathedral Ledge but wow, ever so happy we found this place. Absolutely marvelous views. The viewing area is just a few steps away from the parking lot and a low fence offers a measure of security. Look forward to coming... More

Be able to walk on (slightly) uneven terrain. Not handicap accessible. Long uphill drive, easy parking. Road closed part of Winter. Not a rainy day event.

We saw it while driving. We were glad we, at least, saw it. A daughter and her family said that it was beautiful, They had visited a few months prior.

Short drive from Bartlett or North Conway. The 1 mile road to the top is closed in the winter. Limited parking at the top. Very short walk thru the woods from the top of the road to granite top of the hill and wonderful views to the East.

Great place to climb, hike, or just to see the views. There is a road to the top, if you are not wanting to pull yourself up the face!

This place is incredible. The views are spectacular and even more so in the fall. I have been here many times over the years. In the summer time you can look down and see mountain climbers coming up the face of the rock. If you get a chance, go sit by the lake below. It will cost you a few... More

The Cathedral ledge is an amazing view you can see the whole North Conway Valley. It is a great place to take pictures. The ledge is not to much of a drive up from th valley floor .Very easy access steep in one place but not bad at all. There is a very beautiful view of Echo Lake from the top.
