This shop catered my daughter's wedding, an ice cream social, and the whole thing went beautifully. Drop in here to window shop, browse, breathe in the aroma of chocolate. It's a great place to buy gifts and ice cream cakes for birthdays and other events.

Wonderful little shop a bit pushy as we just walked in the door and were asked to be helped before looking around. We tried a sample and were asked again....we purchased two pieces of chocolate and left.

I was taking a class in the Petersborough area and needed to be there for about nine weekends over about a year. I'm so happy I found Ava Marie handmade chocolates my very first weekend. I must've gone three times that first weekend. The milk and the dark are both really amazing. The artisan chocolates that are made with the... More

The dish of no sugar added ice cream and (for later consumption) chocolate peanut butter cups were satisfying- and all without any guilt attached! Nice stop along with a visit at their neighbor Monadnock Oil and Vinegar.

This is the BEST place to go for the BEST ice cream and no long lines! You will not be disappointed. The handmade chocolates are fabulous too. Best ice cream cake! Coffee drinks, shakes. Amazing jelly bean selection. Always a nice group of servers too.

This has become my first stop when I visit Peterborough from California each year. I love their chocolates, fudge, & caramels. Some of the candy even makes it back to California! I get a hot fudge sundae with coffee ice cream & sit on the patio overlooking downtown Peterborough. This wonderful store is housed in the old Transcript building where... More

My favorite flavor is almond joy on a sugar cone. Always fresh and large portions. You can ask for an itty bitty and it is plenty for me.

We stopped in this cute place for ice cream. They have handmade chocolates too. Nothing was inexpensive. Then again, I don't know where ice cream and chocolates are cheap. They have a few places to sit inside or out. All in all an eclectic cute place with a very friendly staff.

So many lovely hand-made chocolates to choose from. The almond bark samples (dark chocolate, milk chocolate, and white chocolate) were fabulous. I ended up with iced coffee with coffee ice cream--to my surprise it was a full glass of iced coffee with a huge scoop of ice cream that hung over the side. After scooping and sipping enough to carry... More

On a recent visit through this town we stopped in to purchase some local chocolates. This shop sells its own chocolate, ice cream and drinks. The chocolates are $30/lb so even $7.50 for a quarter pound seemed out of the budget. The ice cream flavors seemed appetizing and not as pricey but we were so put off by the chocolate... More
