Fascinating tour of an extraordinary house. Rare and interesting artifacts and furnishings original to the home or period. Well worth the time and money.

I visited recently on a weekend. Had aa great tour guide. The house has a lot of furniture and other items original to owners of the house. I would recommend if you are doing a limited number of historic house tours.

This is definitely a case of if these walls could talk. This house has sheltered six generations of one family during the most tumultuous years of American history. Well worth a visit.

This historic home has Delft and English tiles, the family's original furnishings and serving pieces, and portraits documenting 300 years if history from 1700s Whig to American Revolution Era. Tour guides are very knowledgeable and the one hour tour is so enjoyable.
