I love Prescott park. I have lived in this area for many years and have visited many times. My now husband and I would visit with our kids and play frisbee before we married. The beautiful flowers and the entertainment during the summer is spectacular. We usual go see the play of the summer. Never been disappointed. They have some... More

Great little park that lets you stroll down the waterfront with a few nice gardens and lovely trees. Not dog friendly though but no entrance fee.

The park is really close to Moe's Italian Sandwiches... so perfect for a outdoor lunch. Quiet and peaceful. Could enjoy some more trashcans for garbage. The benches are well maintained, vegetation groomed and parking paved. A repeat!

Prescott Park is always so beautiful. It was nice to walk through when waiting for our Gundalow ride. That was an awesome time. We took the Sunset Sail. Everybody should get to do this once in a lifetime. We were so blessed to be able to. Birthday for my husband.

A 20+ minute walk from downtown Portsmouth and a 5-10 minute walk from Strawberry Banke Museum. Popular flower garden near the water. Fairy house event via Strawberry Banke Museum in late spring/ early summer (?) draws lots of kids. Theatre area for summer shows. Small garden area's but worth a visit to sit and relax after walking all day. Not... More

Great summer concert series and lovely gardens to walk around in. Reasonable ticket prices, preferred seating with tables and chairs or bring a picnic and sit on the blanket and enjoy the music. Right on the Piscataqua River so it's a good walk anytime along the water, even in winter for the hardy.
