The video gives a great overview of the town. The walking tours bring that history to life. Discover Portsmouth has rotating exhibits that are both interesting and culturally centered.

Our tour guide, Sharon, was informative and engaging. She combined Portsmouth's history with the historical architecture of the buildings and interesting stories. Her voice was loud and clear among Portsmouth's busy streets. Be sure to wear good shoes as the tour is about 90 minutes.

From New Hampshire visitor center at border of NH/MA we discovered brochure for daily walking tour which started 40 minutes later.... We hopped in car and were there in 20 minutes safely. Visitor center person Robin was welcoming and terrific! Brought us into 12 minute...More
