The old phones and the information on how the old technology worked and how long it was used, along with seeing the advancements that were being made in phones every couple of years was fascinating. recommend it for all.

Came here because it was raining. Sounded like a corny place. What a surprise!!! This was one well put together MODERN museum. The short video presentation was excellent and informative, the guided tour exceptional. Learnt much about a subject I thought I knew. Kudos

The older you are, the you'll appreciate this gem of a museum, with friendly, well informed staff. Take the free guided tour if you can to get even more input on the exhibits. Really, a fascinating tour of phone history. Some interactive item on display.

The tour of the museum was excellent. Was very nicely laid out with sufficient labeling to identify various items and components, plus the history of each. Very clean and pleasant surroundings. Attendant was very courteous and was very informed about the whole museum experience. Very friendly and made you feel very welcomed and answered all questions.

What a great place to visit and see how communication has changed in this country over the past 150 years! Displays of the first telephone and switchboard to today's means of communication is just mind boggling. A short video and a narrated guided tour if you wanted to join in followed by a take your time, self-paced tour of the... More

We didn't expect much but discovered that this museum is a hidden gem! A virtual complete telephone history with the actual phone equipment used from way back to now is on display. Some displays are user activated and the docent is most informative and personable to interact with.We think this is a great place to visit.

My wife and I found the visit fascinating. I worked for the phone company for 27 years. It was nice to see things that I worked with, as well as things that came well before my time. If you would like to visit a time when phones were built to last, not to throw away, this will be well worth... More

I visited NHTM in May and enjoyed all of it. Graham the host seated me for a quick video then showed me all around the displayed telephones. There was a lot of different phones from many different eras. Everything was arranged in a time line so you could see the evolvement of our telephone communication and equipment. I was amazed...
